How to order your web site
1. Get in touch
Call David on 07908557177 or 01608 654038 for an informal chat (or email us and we'll make contact with you).
We will briefly discuss your requirements
and provide an estimate of the cost. We will always work within your budget and will never attempt to sell you anything that you don't need !
If you would like to go ahead we can move to step 2.
2. Visit
We'll visit you (free) to document your requirements and sketch out your site.
It would be useful if you have an idea of how you would like your site to look and the type of content you require.
You might sketch out your site on paper or choose an existing site that you happen to like (we also have templates to choose from). You can make your design as simple or as detailed as you like. Here's an example of a detailed sketch. You can also add additional features.
We'll ask you a set of questions - you might prepare for these in advance.
If you'd rather that we design the whole thing then that's ok.
3. Quote
Following our visit we'll consider your requirements and send you a quote (you can see some examples of sites we've designed and a breakdown of their costs on our portfolio page).
If you're happy we then work to your requirements and draft a home page. The page will be published to a temporary web address so that you can view it and provide feedback.
We will address your feedback and re-publish until you are satisfied with the result.
We can do this through continuous dialogue by email and/or telephone.
When the home page is complete we can then create other pages (as required).
Once the site is finished and you are completely satisfied we will transfer it to your domain.
4. Registering your domain
You will need to choose a domain name for your web site and have it hosted by a reputable company (see our hosting page for more detail).
Should you choose us to host your site we'll register your domain for you and place your web pages on our host server.
5. Payment
You will not be charged anything at the outset.
Once your home page is completed to your satisfaction we normally ask for a retainer in order for us to complete the remainder of the site.
We'll invoice the balance once the site is complete.
